Ernesto holds a PhD (magna cum laude) in Computer Science from the L3S Research Center, in the University of Hannover, Germany, a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Central American University (UCA), El Salvador. He is from El Salvador, a Kaggle Master, and a chocoholic.
Claudia Orellana-Rodriguez, PhD
Claudia is a scientist and engineer whose work leverages the power of machine learning, natural language processing, social network analysis, and opinion mining to unveil patterns of engagement, attention, and influence on the digital era. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University College Dublin, Ireland, a Master's of Science degree from the Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany, and a B.Sc. degree from the University of El Salvador (UES).
Former visiting researcher at MIT Media Lab's Center for Civic Media where she conducted research with the MediaCloud team on identifying influential American news outlets. She is also a former researcher at the L3S Research Center in the Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany, where she worked on several European projects involving research on crowdsourcing, multimedia information retrieval, and sentiment analysis applied to video ranking and presidential popularity prediction.

Beth holds a Master of Arts (MA, Arts and Humanities) and has extensive experience as research and innovation manager working with heterogenous teams in very dynamic environments. Her background and experience have taken her to find her passion in the intersection of technology and arts.
As the Creative AI Lead at Libre AI, she is exploring how AI can enhance the creativity of artists through an inspiring collaboration between the human mind and the artificial one. Beth is actively involved in different activities that aim to democratize the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, bringing the benefits of AI/ML to a larger audience.
